Tonna graduated with honors from St. Edward’s University with a Bachelor of Art in Public Administration and a minor in Health Care Administration. She is a proud to be a retired State of Texas employee for over 22 years and know how hard public servants work to serve and protect the citizens of Texas. Tonna and her husband Steve Marcyes, have lived in the northern parts of Austin with their 3 dogs and 1 fish for over 25 years. Their 3 grown children are successful entrepreneurs in Austin and blessed them with 9 fabulous Grandkids. and 1 Great Grandson! Steve and Tonna are active members of Parkway Bible Church Pflugerville. Tonna is the President of the Stoneridge Wells Branch Property Owners Association and takes pride in preserving the value of the homes in Stoneridge. In 2018, Tonna was appointed to the Central Texas Community Health Champions, to help address access high-quality health care for everyone in Travis County.
